Made in New York 'Sling' Selvedge Denim - 13.5oz Japanese striated selvedge denim w/ hand-creased Italian Nappa goat leather trim

The Sling Denim is a five-pocket jean featuring an oversized, asymmetrical pocket on the wearer’s right side that extends along the waistline. This variant is crafted entirely in New York City in collaboration with one of the region’s leading luxury leather manufacturers, known for producing samples for top luxury labels.

The fabric is a deadstock striated selvedge denim from Okayama, Japan—among the last of its kind. Weighing 13.5oz, the denim is unwashed and designed to evolve with wear, developing a unique patina over time.

A hand-creased Nappa goat leather trim, sourced from Italy, is applied to both the extended sling pocket and the back patch pocket. The leather’s surface is creased by hand, creating a distinct three-dimensional texture. 

The interior waist circumference, coin pocket edge, and outseam are all finished with exposed selvedge detailing.

The jean features five matte black Cobrax double-prong buttons, used for both the button fly and the sling pocket closure. The button fly construction—traditional to selvedge denim—allows the fabric to break in naturally over years of wear. 

Inside, the jeans are lined with a soft yet durable 100% cotton twill sourced from Italy.

The inseam measures a standard 35 inches, with complimentary alterations offered for all orders. Because the leg maintains a consistent width from the knee to the hem, inseam adjustments can be made without altering the overall fit or silhouette.

The fit is true to size.

Model is 192cm (6”3”), 75kg (160lbs) wearing a Size 32.

Do not machine wash or dry. Dry-clean only in order to preserve the rich indigo color and raw denim appearance.

Keep your garment’s leather trim clean from dust, dirt, and oils by using a mild soap solution or gentle leather cleaner with a dry microfiber cloth. Allow the leather to dry naturally.

Leather can dry out and lose its suppleness over time, so it is necessary to condition your leather jacket every 3-6 months by using a leather specific conditioner or cream.

It is best to store the leather garment in a cool dry place, and avoid leaving the garment in direct sunlight for long periods of time.
